Regarding the Diploma in Fitness Instructing & Personal Training
1) What can I do with it once I’ve finished?
You can start a career in the fitness industry supporting those that want to see change in their health and fitness. You can write plans and implement them and work as a Fitness instructor or Personal Trainer.
2) How long does it take?
Our Full time course is 8 weeks long running Tuesday to Friday from 10.00-16.00hrs, a pre warning Burpees or Press Ups are usually given per minute after the start time if learner arrives late 🙂
We also run flexible learning where we block time with students individually or in small groups to focus on each of the units.
3) Whats involved?
The course covers theory work, written work and practical elements.
4) Do I need any other qualifications?
No other qualifications are required just a true interest in Health and fitness and the want to help others.

The reason we hold an enrolment even is so that we can firstly ascertain whether or not you are eligible for the course for funding but also show you the environment you’ll be learning in and put to rest any fears or questions you may have.
8) Will I need to bring anything to the Information and Enrolment Evening?
Only if you are seriously thinking about doing this course.
You will need to bring a valid (still in date) UK Passport or if you don’t have a Passport your UK Birth certificate/Adoption form.
Also make sure you have your National Insurance number (normally found on a payslip etc.)

9a) What If I fail an Exam?
Do not worry we will have times sometimes outside of the set hours of the course to do the resits however these will not be charged for reassessments.
10) Who is eligible for Government Funding?
You must be 24 years of age or older on the first day of your course.
Your nationality or residency status usually will be;
- Living in the UK on the first day of the course
- Have been living in the UK for 3 years before starting your course
- Be a UK national or have “settled status” (May need to provide evidence of this e.g. Passport VISA)
